Children's emergency course

Pulse course – First Aid & Further Training

Description

Emergencies involving infants or toddlers often occur suddenly and unexpectedly. In such moments, safe, quick, and correct action is essential. The pediatric emergency course teaches the most important first aid measures for medical emergencies in early childhood in a practical and understandable way. Topics covered include: calling emergency services, procedures in the event of unconsciousness, side/prone position, breathing difficulties, especially pseudo-croup, choking, febrile seizures, fall injuries, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. A successful balance between interactive presentations and practical exercises ensures a lively, dynamic course design. This creates a lasting learning experience that promotes safety in an emergency – protecting even the youngest children. The difference between the "Pediatric Emergency Course" and the "Pediatric Emergency Course – Private" lies solely in the maximum number of participants and the location: While the private course takes place in the home environment for up to six people, the regular course is aimed at larger groups and is held on our premises or external venues.

Target group

The course is aimed at expectant and new parents, grandparents, prospective babysitters and anyone who is responsible for infants and small children and wants to act safely and confidently in emergency situations.

Requirement

No prior knowledge is required. The content and training intensity are flexibly adapted to the respective target group – from basic first aid measures to more in-depth aspects. The focus is on imparting sound practical skills in dealing with emergencies involving infants and young children.

Time & Place

The pediatric emergency course lasts approximately three hours and is designed without a break. The seminar can be held either on our premises or as an in-house event on-site – for example, in a private setting, a daycare center, or another suitable location. Due to the high practical component, sufficient space for practical exercises must be ensured when conducting the course on-site.

Cost

The participation fee for a course is €45 per person. For in-house courses (held at the customer's location), a customized quote will be created. For inquiries about an in-house course, please use the "Request Course" button above.

recognition

The child emergency course is not subject to official approval or supervision. Therefore, no certificate of participation is generally issued. If a certificate is required in individual cases—for example, as part of a babysitter training course—it can be issued upon request.
