Description
Emergencies involving infants or toddlers often occur suddenly and unexpectedly. In such moments, safe, quick, and correct action is essential. The pediatric emergency course teaches the most important first aid measures for medical emergencies in early childhood in a practical and understandable way. Topics covered include: calling emergency services, procedures in the event of unconsciousness, side/prone position, breathing difficulties, especially pseudo-croup, choking, febrile seizures, fall injuries, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. A successful balance between interactive presentations and practical exercises ensures a lively, dynamic course design. This creates a lasting learning experience that promotes safety in an emergency – protecting even the youngest children. The difference between the "Pediatric Emergency Course" and the "Pediatric Emergency Course – Private" lies solely in the maximum number of participants and the location: While the private course takes place in the home environment for up to six people, the regular course is aimed at larger groups and is held on our premises or external venues.
Target group
The course is aimed at individuals who take responsibility for infants or small children in the home environment – for example, expectant parents, young families, or grandparents – and who want to act safely and confidently in emergency situations. The event is specifically designed for a private setting and usually takes place in the participants' living rooms. The course is designed for small groups of up to six people.
Requirement
For a private seminar, the booking party must provide a clean, suitable room with sufficient space for practical exercises. A sufficiently large TV with an HDMI port, which all participants can view, is also required. The interactive presentation will be streamed and integrated into the course. Alternatively, the seminar can also take place on our premises – by prior arrangement.
Time & Place
The pediatric emergency course lasts approximately three hours and is designed without a break. The "Pediatric Emergency Course - Private" seminar typically takes place in the booking participant's living room. Alternatively, it can be held at Pulskurs's facilities by prior arrangement.
Cost
The seminar costs €349 (plus travel costs and any additional expenses) and is available for private groups of up to six participants. Additional fees apply for larger groups. We would be happy to provide you with a customized quote.
recognition
The private pediatric emergency course is not subject to official licensing or supervision. Therefore, no certificate of participation is generally issued. If a certificate is required in individual cases, one can be provided upon request.
